Solar + battery storage
Solar and batteries work best when the equipment, electrical service, household loads and backup goals are evaluated as one complete system.

SRK Electric plans residential energy systems for practical daily use and dependable backup. Recommendations are based on site conditions and real consumption—not a one-size-fits-all package.
We review utility consumption, major electrical loads, rate structure and future plans such as EV charging or electric HVAC.
Solar array size, inverter capacity, battery storage and backup loads are matched to your goals and site constraints.
Your main service equipment, interconnection method, equipment locations and wiring routes are evaluated before final pricing.
After approvals, the system is installed, inspected, configured and tested for normal and backup operation.
System capabilities
Use solar production directly and store available excess energy for later use, based on system settings and available capacity.
Keep selected circuits—or more of the home—operating during outages, subject to inverter output, stored energy and active loads.
Coordinate solar, storage and charging with the home’s available capacity and energy-management strategy.
Load controls can prioritize equipment and help keep demand within the system’s operating limits.
Equipment and installation
A complete system may include roof-mounted PV modules, racking, rapid shutdown, hybrid or grid-tied inverters, battery storage, energy-management equipment, disconnects, monitoring and electrical-service modifications.
Final equipment selection depends on compatibility, availability, utility requirements, approved plans and the conditions found at your home. SRK Electric also handles ordinary permitting, inspection coordination, system startup and commissioning within the contracted scope.

Runtime depends on usable battery capacity, state of charge and which loads are operating. Refrigeration and lighting use far less energy than HVAC, electric heat, cooking equipment or EV charging. We estimate backup performance using your actual priorities and consumption.
They can reduce grid purchases, but complete independence is not guaranteed. Seasonal solar production, weather, household demand, battery reserve and system operating limits all affect grid use.
With compatible equipment and proper system design, solar may supply loads and recharge batteries while the grid is unavailable. Available power still depends on sunlight, active loads and equipment limits.
Sometimes. The service rating, bus capacity, available space, interconnection method, equipment layout and utility requirements must be reviewed before the installation plan and final price are confirmed.
